Confidence
Confidence is my topic
for today.
The word confidence
comes from Latin and is composed of the prefix “con” which means
"together," the term “fides” meaning "trust" and the suffix
“ia” meaning "quality." By uniting the pieces we understand that
trust is the quality of having security or trust in something or someone.
WHAT CAN I SAY TO
THIS?
I am thinking of what you will possibly tell me:
In this world you can no longer trust anyone. It is true, there are so many
people who disappoint us, but trust not only occurs in others but begins in
oneself. When we trust ourselves, we have a positive personal vision. If we
don’t trust in our abilities we will not be able to rely on the capabilities of
others. If we don’t have inner security we cannot feel secure with the outside.
But it is important that we also trust each other.
MY TIP: Don’t label everyone
as unfair or unreliable. Identify people who act in good faith, who are
transparent and upright. Don’t see everyone as rivals, there are many people who
can be good teammates.
